Title: engine Directory Structure Must be Maintained in Interstage BPM Version 11.3
Fact: Interstage BPM (Business Process Manager) Version 11.3 Build IF1130049
Symptom: "Setup Failed" at the end of executing setup.bat or setup.sh script
Fix:
In version 11.3 installation, it is required to maintain the "engine" folder that is copied from the installation kit. If engine directory is renamed, the installation will fail with the generic error message as "Setup Failed" at the end of executing the setup script, typically found in {BPM HOME}/engine/server/.
Note:
"engine" directory is introduced in version 11.3; thus, it is very likely that you will need to update the DmsCollections.xml, for "Default" tenant typically found in {BPM home}/engine/server/instance/default/tenants/Default/resources, to reflect the change of the dms path after upgrading from a prior version of BPM. This needs to be done for each tenant created.
