  11.2 270 installation on RH JBoss EAP 5.0.0, Oracle 11g on Win XP.
  i am trying to set the console port to 80 instead of 49950 using deploymnet tool, deployment was successful, but when i start the server it is pointing to 49950, why it is not picking up port 80, even i verified silent install prop it was registered as 80 only, is it a bug?

  Below is what we found in the past concerning changing the ports in JBoss.  You might want to look up bindings-jboss-beans.xml to see if 49950 is configured there.
   
  If you want to make changes to the ports post to Interstage BPM server/console deployment, you can manually edit the ports in C:jboss-5.1.0.GAserveribpmconfbindingservice.beansMETA-INFbindings-jboss-beans.xml while Interstage BPM server/console JVM is shut down.
  Also you can manipulate the binding address by using the -b option when you launch the IBPM instance.
  
  You will also need to make changes to the ports on the relevant client properties such as the console.conf used by the Interstage BPM console app and the system properties in Tenant Manager page.

  Thanks CY, yep we can configure ports on Jboss, but my question was why deployment tool is not recognizing it.

  Can you check also {JBoss root}serveribpmdeployjbossweb.sarserver.xml?
  You can edit the 49950 there.
