  Title: How to Delete Process Definitions in Published or Obsolete State Permanently

   

  Fact: Fujitsu Interstage BPM (Business Process Definition) V11.2

   

  Fact: Fujitsu Interstage BPM (Business Process Definition) V11.2.1

   

  Fact: Fujitsu Interstage BPM (Business Process Definition) V11.3

   

  Fact: Fujitsu Interstage BPM (Business Process Definition) V11.3.1

   

  Fact: Fujitsu Interstage BPM Console V11.3.1

   

  Symptom: Deleting process definitions in obsolete or published state results in state of deleted

   

  Fix:

  To permanently delete process definitions that are in obsolete or published state, follow the instructions as explained in Interstage BPM Console v11.3.1 Help Contents (See the highlighted text in yellow):

   

  If its state is Published or Obsolete before deleting then it is still displayed in Process Definition List and its state changes to Deleted. In this case, the deleted process definition is not deleted from Process Definition List. The deleted process definition cannot be used and is retained in Process Definition List for record. To delete such process definitions permanently:

  1. Archive the process definition.
  2. Go to Archived List.
  3. Right-click the process definition and select Delete. After this, the process definition is permanently removed.
