Interstage XWand v12.1 changes
Version 12.1 is an update to the toolkit only. Version 12.0 continues to be the latest version of the Interstage XWand Development and Runtime editions
Changes to the following tools have been made in this release:
-Taxonomy Editor / Instance Creator
-XWand Viewer
-Formula Editor and
-Word Tagger
The list of common changes made across the tools is as follows:
-Support for allowing users to add and view Change Requests to:
-Taxonomy
-Individual concepts in taxonomy
-Instance
-Individual facts in instance
-Support for exporting and importing Change Requests associated with a taxonomy and/or instance
-Support for version 22 of the EDGAR Filing Manual
-Errors related 5.2.2 are reported in 6.5.16 validation
-Support for “search” during URI Mapping
-“All contexts” right-click option – switches off all the currently displayed context columns with only the “All context” column in
-Instance Table tab in Instance Creator and
-Table tab in the Instance View of XWand Viewer
-JRE7 update 13 or later / JRE6 update 39 or later related issues in:
-Formula Editor – “Test Formulae/Assertions” menu doesn’t work
-Sheet Mapping Designer – Taxonomy information is not displayed
-Sheet Instance Creator – Loaded excel is not displayed
-Taxonomy Editor, Instance Creator, XWand Viewer – FRTA, FRIS and EFM validation freeze
More tool specific changes are as follows:

-Update taxonomy during comparison
-Instance Creator
-Automatic unit and scale setting based on data type
-XWand Viewer:
-Support for generating HTML/XLSX report for the current page only
-Formula Editor
-Support drag-and-drop of concepts during formula creation
-Support for multiple instances
-Word Tagger
-Improved performance for Inline XBRL Export
