  Steps to follow:

  1. Close XWand Viewer

  2. In a text editor (notepad), open the “validation.xml” file in the “\tools\xwviewer\conf” folder

  3. Insert the line “  ” before the “” line (see diagram below)

   

   

   

  4. Save the “validation.xml” file

   

  When you open XWand Viewer the next time, you will see the “XBRL US Consistency Check” option enabled under the “Tools – Validation” menu

   

   

   

   

  When you invoke the consistency check, you will need to fill in your XBRL US account information for accessing the checks in the dialog box.
