Resolving the issue related with non accessibility of certain UI elements like the popup dialog box.
IBPM Version: All Versions
Browser Version: Microsoft Internet Explorer
Problem Description:
Problems in accessing certain UI elements like the popup dialog box. Ex. - suppose we are in System Administration --> Application Settings page and we right click on any application and press start to make
the application online, now popup dialog box appears, here user is unable to close this dialog box. And this behavior is for all the popup dialog boxes in IBPM console.
Solution:
Sometimes the IE at the customers end has the activeX and scripting disabled. The reason for the disabling of the same is because of the "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration". Even if the site (IBPM Console) is added to trusted site, the issue persists since IBPM Console has reference to "about:blank" which is not part of trusted site list of IE.
One solution could be, add "about:blank" to trusted site of IE to get the application to work normally, though this cannot be the recommended approach.
