  Hi,
  
  I need to change the name of my application. I don't need to change anything else... just the application name.
  
  I have many in-flight processes and analytics charts working based on those processes.
  
  How can I do this?

  PS: I know that the UI does not allow it... I am looking for a one time workaround/hack.

  Try updating   applicationId  column value ( column holds application name in ibpm) in  WorkflowApplication table in db for that specific application  and tenant,   i dont think we have other options...

  Why don't you just rename the application name, also known as the project name, in Interstage BPM studio and then upload to console.  You will need to delete the old one to avoid conflict.

  If I upload a different application name, it will be a different application, and my inflight processes and analytics charts won't work.
  
  Or is there another way to upload a new application and keep the analytics settings?

  Tried changing the applicationId column in the table. I found that there are many folders in the server and the console that all have the applicationid in them, so they needed to be changed as well. I then found that there were text files with application names in them as well. After all those changes, my server did not display any instances for *any* application. There is more to this than meets the eye...

  Found more locations where the application name was captured in a text file. Fixed those. The BPM part seems to be working ok... but I get "No Data" for all my analytics charts.

  Analytics is not expecting application ID to be changed.  Creating new charts seems more easier.
